Field records

A field record represents a single collection of data from a trap or survey. It can include barcodes, multimedia, and supporting data such as comments. Field records for traps can also include extra trap attributes, and field records for surveys can include geolocational data.

You can access and manage field records from the Field Records link in an associated effort or survey on the Ecologue Web version.

Select the Create field record button to create a new one on the web.

You can also select the Edit Field Record button to edit an existing field record.

Multimedia​

The Multimedia button displays images associated with the current field record.

The multimedia displayed on the page is reduced to thumbnails. Clicking on a thumbnail will display the full-sized image on the page.

Select the Import Multimedia button to load any .png or .jpeg image from your computer.
