Efforts

Efforts are a type of data collection event within Ecologue that includes one or more field records. They typically represent the 'effort' of a user who goes into the field to check a trap and record data. An effort captures who checked the trap, at what time, for what reason, additional comments, and other supporting data.

On the web, you can view efforts associated with a trap by navigating to the projects's Traps page and selecting the Effort button.

Creating an Effort

Efforts are usually created in the field with the mobile app. However, you can also create a new effort in the Web app by selecting the Create Effort button.
